Soft Pomeron Physics on the Lattice
نویسندگان
چکیده
We use lattice QCD to investigate some topics in strong interaction phenomenol-ogy which are usually related to soft pomeron exchange. These include hadronic cross-sections at high energies and diffractive scattering at HERA. Some numerical results are presented in the framework of the Landshoff-Nachtmann pomeron model, and strategies for further studies are discussed.

متن کاملQCD Pomeron at Linear Colliders
Recent developments in theory on the calculation of γ∗γ∗ reaction at high energies, in the aim of detecting the BFKL Pomeron signals, are briefly introduced. The importance of the NLO QCD corrections to the Photon Impact Factor in the game is highlighted.
متن کاملLattice of full soft Lie algebra
In this paper, we study the relation between the soft sets and soft Lie algebras with the lattice theory. We introduce the concepts of the lattice of soft sets, full soft sets and soft Lie algebras and next, we verify some properties of them. We prove that the lattice of the soft sets on a fixed parameter set is isomorphic to the power set of a ...
متن کاملDiractive Production at Collider Energies I: Soft Diraction and Dino's Paradox
One of the more interesting developments from recent collider experiments is the nding that hadronic total cross sections as well as elastic cross sections can be described by the exchange of a \soft Pomeron" pole in the near-forward limit. The most important consequence of Pomeron being a pole is the factorization property. However, due to Pomeron intercept being greater than 1, the extrapolat...
